I grew up in an non christian family. But april 5, 1995 I turned to God and had a strong, personal contact with Him, that totally changed my life. And lots have happened since that day.

In 2001 I fasted for 40 days, which became a start to something even bigger. I’ve seen many got saved, healed and set free from demons. And for almost 13 year I have written books and articles, lecturing, and planted congregations.

I grew up in Brande, Denmark. My family has always been a member of the church, where I got baptized and confirmed. But like most Danes, we never went to church.

My transformation in life started on a certain day, when I visited a good friend. I saw a bible lying on his bed. He told me, that he has become a personal christian, and now went to a free church.

I thought he has been brainwashed. That it was a dangerous sect he got himself into. And I told him that. But at the same time, I was slightly curious…

One day a friend and I watched a program on TV from a church in Copenhagen. After a while, some people went up to be prayed for, and the pastor laid hands on them and prayed. I put particular attention to a girl who, after she had been prayed for, sat down on a chair and a tear ran down her cheek. When I saw that, it did something to me. I was very surprised and thought: has she felt something? Can you feel God?

I thought of myself.. I was baptized and confirmed, but had never experienced God. So if it’s possible to see and feel God, I also want to experience that. And therefore I decided – a big surprise for my friend – that I would go to church with him the very next day.

The day after I stood in a church together with a lot of people. They were all singing to God, with their hands raised up. Some spoke in tongues. My first thought was, that I probably was the only normal person there. But during the evening I felt that they had something special, that I didn’t have. So when the preacher asked, if there were some who wanted to accept Jesus as their savior, I knew he spoke to me. I stood up and prayed to Jesus to become my Lord and Savior. I did not know much about it, but something happened to me.

Later that evening the preacher puts his hands on my head and prayed. I experienced something like a huge fire that came down on me and went through my entire body. It’s hard to describe, but what I saw was so real. It was incredible. And since that day my life has changed.

It was April 5, 1995 when I asked Jesus to become my Lord and personal savior. And he did become that. Since that day a lot have changed. Before that day I had a fear of dying. When I sat alone in the evening and thought to myself: that one day it will all be over. One day I will not live anymore. I got scared and upset about it. That fear disappeared immediately and completely, when I accepted Jesus. I now have found the meaning in life. The meaning I had been searching for my whole life. I always thought there has to be more than education, getting married, having children, grandchildren.. and in the end become old and die. When I accepted Jesus, I found what I was searching for. The emptiness I had deep inside of me was now filled completely. All people have this emptiness inside of them and only Jesus can fill it. Jesus is the answer.

After my experience with Jesus, I found out that God can speak to me. For example about 5 months later, I went to a Christian concert in Aalborg, where God spoke to me, and said that the girl who stood not far away from me, would become my wife. I turned around and looked at her. After the concert, I drove home with a friend and told him that I had met my wife! I did not know who she was, what her name was, where she came from, etc. But God had said to me, that she would become my wife. When I got home, I told God that he should bring us together, because I did not know who she was. About 3 months later we met again and began to talk. Now we are married and have 3 children.

5 years later, I began to think more about my life with God. I came to the conclusion that there really was no fruit in my life. I did not see people get healed, set free or saved.

So after reading strong scriptures about this in the bible and in a sort of desperation after more of God, I started on a 40 day fast, which was to transform a lot of things in my life. To make it very short: my eyes were even more open to God’s word, and what the gospel is about. I began to understand how lukewarm we Christians are, and how far away from the truth we have come. I saw that God called me to speak his Word without compromise, something that unfortunately we have not seen too much of in our country. I also heard him say that I should write a book that would reveal the deception, we as Christians had come in. It was a very powerful experience. For the next 11 days, I experienced how God gave me a chapter of the book each day, and how he in an incredible way opened the words to me.

When the book was finished, God told me to wait to publish it until he told me to. He told me almost 3 years later, on October, 4 2003.

It was very special. I prayed and did not really felt anything in the beginning, but suddenly God spoke to me, and said that now the time was right for “The Sound Doctrine” to come out. And he told me how I should do it: a short introduction and testimony about how the book was created (born). And end it with a postscript: “Now, three years after”, where I summarize it, and go a little further in the healthy doctrine.

As I told you earlier, I have experienced many new and exciting things during the last years. A lot of people has become healed. Jesus is not dead! He is very much alive and still heals and saves people. Yes, the gospel is true both in terms of healing, salvation, deliverance, but also when it comes to sin, judgement and eternal damnation (hell). I wish that people will not end in perdition, but turn to Jesus Christ so they can be saved. And that the body of Christ will rise up, so we live the life we are called to.
